About Toad Homes
My Story
I founded ToadHomes.com from my Appalachian Mountain pottery atop Bald Mountain, in Cullowhee, NC. My buddy Eddie asked me one day "Do you make toad houses?". That began this journey. I love the outdoors, working with clay (AKA "playing in the mud"), and sharing my love of toads with y'all. Clay offers endless opportunities for creativity, making each and every ToadHome uniquely different.
My Process
I use only the finest materials to create my ceramics, sourcing clay from local suppliers whenever possible. My pieces are all handcrafted, and each item is unique. I take great pride in my attention to detail and the quality of my work.
My Passion
I enjoy the creative process. Whether throwing a large pot, stitching an embroidery piece,
tying a fly for fishing our beautiful mountain streams, or knitting hats and scarfs to hand out to those in need. ToadHomes.com is another small way I can add something positive to the world, help improve the habitat for these amazing little creatures, and stoke a little positivity into the universe.
